Hi. I'm unfamiliar with your blog however I stumbled upon it when I googled palatial expander for my son's braces. I read your blog and when you mentioned that you would NOT mention the side effects, I screamed for my older son (who wore an expander) and asked him what the side effects were. He said none. My younger son (12 1/2) has Asperger's and Oral Apraxia so now that he just got the expander in yesterday, he is FULL of saliva and I can't understand a word he's saying. I have never had braces so I don't even understand why he's having such a tough time when his brother did just fine. I tried googling the side effects but came up with nothing and my son is now in tears and won't eat. HELP!!!! What are the side effects and how long will this expander keep hurting him? I feel HORRIBLE!! Thanks so much :)
